Flex Bend Balance
Experience personal training in a small group setting. Class size is limited to 8 people.
Flex Bend Balance is an on-going class for seniors taught in a circuit format. After an initial group warmup period, each person works their way through a set of stations. At each station the exercises can be regressed (made less challenging) or progressed (made more challenging). The exercises use chairs, balls, stretchy bands and light weights to improve flexibility, mobility, and balance. Most exercises can be done seated or standing. Exercises support the activities of daily living to help prevent falls and maintain independence. Each student works at their own pace while being continually challenged.
Class meets Wednesday from 1 – 2 PM and Friday from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
Classes are $20 each. Use the Westside Wellness punch card for $2 discount per session.
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive exercise clothes and supportive shoes.
