Friday Mindfulness Sessions allow you to release and let go as you prepare to move into the weekend. Let go of the workweek, the stress, the strain, and chill for an hour. The perfect way to end the week!
Leave your shoes in the hallway. Leave your stuff in the car. The phone is OFF (just leave it in the car!). Enter the room in peace and silence. Give yourself the space to reflect. Be open to the possibilities.
Sessions start every hour on the hour. Pay at the door, cash or card. Save money with a 5-punch or 10-punch card. The first 10-minutes of any session is settling time, and the door is opened, so come on in. No entry if the door is shut. Don’t stress! The next session starts soon!
Sit in the chairs, sit on the cushions, sit on the floor. Use the blankets and pillows. Bring your meditation props! Comfort is essential. Sit against the wall. Stand on your head. Be comfortable. Be you!
At the top of the hour, move into the room silently, settle In, get comfortable, begin releasing the external senses. Focus on an intention in the form of “I AM” to use as a mantra. “I am peace”, “ I am calm”, “I am strong”
At the 10-minute mark, doors close. A brief introduction to meditation.
At the 15-minute mark, Body relaxes using deep breathing and body scan.
At the 30-minute mark, Mind relaxes as Guided meditation leads you deeper inside
At the 45-minute mark, silence begins. No music, only the sound of your heart beating. Focus on the breath, your mantra, the tip of your nose. Relax into the ever-present eternal now! All is well.
At the 55-minute mark, the final bell chimes.
In the final five minutes, come back to reality, regroup, and reground.
Leave the room in silence. Don’t forget your shoes!
